Color Your World-Mountain Meadow

Okay, so I am a bit obsessed with this Color Your World Challenge, lol.   I am a bit surprised by the shade of “mountain meadow.”  I would have assumed it had a more grassy flair to it rather than the minty.  It instantly reminded me of copper oxidizing, or a patina as I just learned.  Living in New York City, what do you think came to mind first!?!  You got it…  

THE STATUE OF LIBERTY!!!  I know it’s a tiny bit of mountain meadow, but I thought that this was a cool shot with the fireworks in the background.  This past June, John and I were on a Rosé Wine Cruise which sailed around lower Manhattan.  We just happened to get lucky with the awesome and random firework display!
